Welcome to PURE Virtual Clinic, operated by MD Likar Corporation. Your privacy is important to us. The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment is designed to facilitate access to administrative and technical functionality supporting independent Providers, and this Privacy Policy describes how information associated with use of the Environment is handled.
By accessing or using the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to be subject to it, please do not use the Environment. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, with changes effective upon posting. We encourage you to review it periodically.
TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The PURE Virtual Clinic – MD Likar’s digital product, a virtual communication environment and information search environment (hereinafter also referred to as the “Environment”), which is designed exclusively for facilitating the search process and communication between users and independent providers across various locations.
Provider(s) – Independent naturopathic medical doctors (NDs and NMDs) and holistic psychotherapists, who possess the requisite valid diplomas, licenses, and valid certificates, are registered in compliance with local legislation, and are authorized to engage in professional practices independently. All Providers who engage clients through the PURE Virtual Clinic do so as independent professionals, not as employees, agents, or representatives of MD Likar Corporation. Consequently, they provide their professional Services to Users or Consumers of Provider Services via the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment.
The User, Customer, or Consumer of Provider’s Services – An adult individual who possesses full legal capacity, utilizes the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment for informational and communication purposes, and registers within the Environment to seek and interact with Providers. By registering, they accept the Terms of Use of the Environment through online acceptance.
Providers’ Services – The professional services rendered by independent Providers (hereinafter referred to as “Services”).
USING THE ENVIRONMENT
Your access to the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment and use of the information contained therein is governed by this Privacy Policy and local regulations. Your access to the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment and use of the information contained therein is governed by this Privacy Policy and applicable law. When you use the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment, information may be associated with such use as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to use the Environment under these conditions, please refrain from accessing it.
THE INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH USE OF THE ENVIRONMENT
Limited information may be associated with use of the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment in connection with access, scheduling, billing coordination, and general administrative functionality. Such information is provided directly by Users or arises incidentally through the operation of the Environment and related third-party services. Certain features of the Environment may require Users to submit basic identifying or contact information for administrative or coordination purposes.
Personal Information. Information that may be associated with use of the Environment includes, where applicable:
a) Contact and Access Information
Information such as name, email address, phone number, or other contact details provided by Users in connection with accessing the Environment, submitting inquiries, or communicating for administrative purposes.
b) Scheduling and Payment Coordination
Information necessary to facilitate scheduling or payment workflows through third-party service providers. Payment information is transmitted directly to third-party payment processors and is not stored or controlled by the Environment.
c) Communications
Information voluntarily included in communications initiated by Users through the Environment or related administrative channels.
d) Third-Party Tools and Services
Information collected by third-party platforms used in connection with the Environment, such as scheduling, video, or intake systems, is governed by the privacy practices of those third parties.
CLINICAL RECORD AND PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION (PHI)
Clinical documentation, treatment records, session notes, and all other Protected Health Information (“PHI”) are created, maintained, accessed, and controlled exclusively by independent Providers in connection with their direct clinical relationships with Users, within secure third-party systems selected and used by such Providers.
MD Likar Corporation does not act as a custodian or repository of medical records and does not access, review, manage, store, transmit, or use Provider-generated clinical records or PHI in the ordinary course of its operations.
The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment provides non-clinical technical infrastructure and administrative coordination only. MD Likar Corporation does not participate in diagnosis, treatment, clinical documentation, medical decision-making, or therapeutic services.
To the extent MD Likar Corporation is deemed, by operation of law only, to qualify as a Business Associate under HIPAA due solely to facilitation of non-clinical technical infrastructure or system coordination, such role is strictly limited to what is legally required and does not include access to PHI, control over clinical records, or involvement in clinical care.
All responsibility for clinical content, recordkeeping, privacy compliance, and compliance with applicable healthcare laws rests solely with the independent Provider, who functions as the Covered Entity with respect to such records and information.
WEBSITE AND ENVIRONMENT ACTIVITY INFORMATION
The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment may collect limited technical and usage information through standard web technologies provided by the hosting and infrastructure services used to operate the Environment, such as cookies and basic analytics tools. This information may include page views, approximate location data, browser type, device information, and general usage patterns.
Such information is used solely to support operation of the Environment, maintain functionality, and understand overall usage trends. Data collected through these tools is processed in aggregated or de-identified form and is not used to identify individual Users or to create individual user profiles.
The Environment does not independently track Users across third-party websites and does not sell or publicly disclose usage data.
COOKIES
The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment may use cookies and similar technologies provided by the hosting and infrastructure services used to operate the Environment. These technologies support basic functionality, security, and performance, such as enabling page navigation and understanding general usage patterns.
Cookies used in connection with the Environment do not independently identify individual Users and are not used for behavioral profiling, targeted advertising, or cross-site tracking. You may adjust your browser settings to limit or disable cookies; however, doing so may affect certain functionality of the Environment.
INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
Information associated with use of the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment may be shared with third parties solely to the extent necessary to support operation of the Environment and related administrative functionality, such as hosting, scheduling coordination, payment processing by third-party processors, and technical support services.
The Environment does not sell personal information and does not disclose personal information for advertising or marketing purposes. The Environment does not access, control, or disclose Provider-generated clinical records or Protected Health Information.
Information handled by independent Providers or third-party platforms used in connection with the Environment is governed by the privacy practices of those parties.
RETRIEVING AND REMOVING YOUR DATA
Depending on your jurisdiction, certain legal rights may apply with respect to personal information associated with your use of the Environment. Such rights may be subject to legal limitations, retention requirements, or other lawful exceptions.
DATA PROTECTION
The PURE Virtual Clinic provides access to third-party technologies and integrations used by independent Providers for scheduling, communication, and related administrative functions. The Environment does not host, store, or manage Provider-generated clinical records or treatment notes. Use of the Environment involves transmission of information over networks and systems not owned or controlled by the Environment. Users acknowledge that no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be secure and that access to the Environment is provided on an “as is” basis. The Environment disclaims responsibility for unauthorized access, interception, loss, or alteration of information resulting from factors outside its direct control, including the acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS
The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment may contain links to websites maintained by third parties that are not under the control of MD Likar or the Environment. Such links are provided for convenience only. The Environment may also be accessed through third-party links over which MD Likar and the PURE Virtual Clinic have no control. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit. MD Likar and its Environment make no warranties, undertakes, or representations of any kind as to the reliability, currency, quality, or completeness of any information contained on such websites and assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or expense arising from the use of such information. A link to a third party does not imply endorsement or recommendation by MD Likar or the PURE Virtual Clinic.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The PURE Virtual Clinic Environment is not designed or intended for use by anyone under 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not try to register for or use the PURE Virtual Clinic or submit any Personal Data. By accessing, using, and/or submitting information to or through the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment, you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
If you use the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment on behalf of another person, regardless of age, you agree that PURE Virtual Clinic or MD Likar may contact you regarding any communication made in connection with providing access to the Environment or any legally required communications. You also agree to pass on or share any such communication with the person on whose behalf you are using the Environment.
LIMITATIONS
MD Likar and the Environment are committed to protecting your privacy to the fullest extent possible. However, it is not possible to ensure complete privacy. There may be circumstances where MD Likar Corporation is legally obligated to disclose personal information, such as in response to a court order, legal process, or a legitimate request from law enforcement authorities. In such cases, disclosure is necessary to fulfill legal requirements or cooperate with law enforcement.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
MD Likar has the right to update this Privacy Policy in accordance with the amendment provisions set forth in the Terms of Use governing the Environment. The Privacy Policy may change at any time without notice. Such changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
LEGISLATION
This Privacy Policy is provided for informational purposes and operates in conjunction with the Terms of Use governing access to and use of the PURE Virtual Clinic Environment. The Terms of Use set forth the governing law, dispute resolution mechanism, jurisdiction, and venue applicable to any matters arising out of or relating to use of the Environment, including matters related to this Privacy Policy.
MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed null and void without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
